1. Since that fateful interception in Atlanta, Mitch Trubisky is 76-of-113 for 776 yards, 7 TDs, and 2 INTs in three starts.

That equates to a 100.2 passer rating.

Did Matt Nagy yank him too soon? We’ll never know.

2. David Montgomery averaged 3.7 yards per carry last year. He is averaging 4.5 this year. He has four runs of 20+ yards or more.

Cordarrelle Patterson has averaged 3.6 yards per carry and has zero runs of 20 yards or more. Yet he has 59 carries this year. Explain this, #Bears.
3. Darnell Mooney is three catches away from the #Bears rookie record set by Harlon Hill in the 1950s.

Allen Robinson is only the 4th receiver in team history to deliver back-to-back seasons over 1,000 yards.

Man, that’s depressing.
4. Sam Mustipher is the epitome of the classic “it’s not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog."

Average size. Average strength. Average athlete. Doesn’t matter. He gets guys blocked.

This #Bears O-line completely changed when he took over.
5. Is he hurt? Is he slowing down? Did he lose his edge after getting his money? Nobody can say for sure.

What is clear is Robert Quinn keeps trending towards arguably the worst free agent signing in #Bears history.

One sack for $30 million guaranteed.
6. Bilal Nichols has 3 sacks, 4 QB hits, 3 tackles for loss, and an interception in the past five games.

We’re finally seeing the emergence of that guy we saw in 2018. Great news for the #Bears defense.
7. Brian Urlacher holds the official #Bears record for most tackles in a season with 153.

Roquan Smith is at 122 with three games left, needing 31 to tie and 32 to break it.

This kid is a star.
8. The #Bears secondary hasn’t recorded an INT in seven straight games.

Remember guys like Kyle Fuller and Eddie Jackson are getting paid far north of $11 million per year.

The defense had 7 sacks on Sunday and still couldn’t pick off Deshaun Watson once?

Unacceptable.
9. Cairo Santos Is 21-of-23 on field goals this year. That is a 91.3% accuracy rate.

Remember he was signed purely as an emergency measure because Eddy Pineiro was hurt.

Proof again there is no set formula to finding the right guy.

#Bears
10. Sunday may be a departure between Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace.

The GM is already past the point of no return because of the QB debacle.

Nagy though is showing the team hasn’t quit. He can still command the locker room.

That could save him IF the #Bears finish strong.
11. So what happens if the #Bears do keep Nagy? One of two things will happen.

Either they hire a GM who will evaluate him for a year in 2021 or they double down and hire somebody he has close ties to.

Mike Borgonzi and Louis Riddick are two names to watch in that scenario.
12. The path ahead is pretty clear for the #Bears.

They have to win out against all 3 remaining opponents and they need Arizona to lose one of their final 3 games.

Do that and they make the playoffs.

This game in Minnesota will basically be do-or-die for both teams.

Enjoy!
