Every month families forgo food + water + healthcare just to pay the rent to avoid eviction. Renters are burdened with $51 billion in rent payments, forcing us to work multiple jobs, take out loans + put our lives at risk just to pay the bills. 
That ain’t right!
That's why today we urge the incoming @JoeBiden admin & incoming CDC Director @RWalensky to immediately enact the follow executive policies on your 1st day in office:
Enhance + extend the existing CDC eviction #moratorium which currently expires THIS MONTH - Dec 31st, 2020
Enact an immediate, nationwide moratorium on the shut-offs of electricity, water, broadband, and all other essential utilities. 
Prioritize Department of Justice resources to enforce the moratorium.
Finally: cancel rent & mortgage obligations & all rent, utility, & mortgage debt as result of the COVID-19 pandemic so we can all have a #debtfreefuture
