Here z Gen Manikshaw accepted on camera that he had 1:15 superiority over Pak forces. So even for a second if we assume no. of Pak Army was 90k then IA no. must be in millions which z impossible. He even recognized the valour with which Pak Army fought 5/

Authorized strength of regular infantry battalion was 798 nd R&S battalion was 686. Considering Authorized strength was never complete nd an average of 15% casualties, a regular infantry battalion was left with abt 650 people on average and R&S battalions with 500 persons each 9/

In book: 'Mission With a Difference' LT Gen kathpalia wrote how even IA officers were surprised when actual no. of PA men turned out way less. He was told to arrange escorting about 16K POWs to India but actual no. was even less than 5K. This reflects how no.'s were forged 14/
