The difference between Deku’s Character and Talk-No-Jutsu:
Talk-No-Jutsu is a means to resolve conflicts between characters through conversation. While this is in no way bad, it can get annoying when a long speech is what defeats all of your antagonists.

Let’s compare this to Deku’s character
Deku is a person, described by the 1st user of OFA, that has an urge to save that passes logic. In other words, Deku wants to save anyone by any means necessary.
This is what creates the conflict between Deku and Shigaraki, Deku wants to save by any means and Shiggy believes heroes only save when it’s of the heroes convenience and ignore the pain of villains and the fact that the hero system is what created them in the first place.
So when Deku learns that Shigaraki is simply a product of his environment, he focuses on the disease and not the symptom.

“You look like you needed saving.” Deku is probably the only person that can come to that conclusion because he see’s deeper than most other heroes
Deku understands and wants to save Shigaraki. This creates a scenario where the only way for these 2 to come to a logical conclusion is through conversation. But once they come to a conclusion, the ending result will be who has the stronger will power to make their ideals reality
This factor’s into the Save to Win, Win to Save mentality. Deku has to save Shiggy from AFO and from himself in order to truly defeat him. And he has to defeat Shigaraki in order to save the lives of other people. This writing goes FAR beyond simplifying it to “Talk-No-Jutsu”
In conclusion, Deku is the best written MC in current Shonen and is able to understand villains on an emotional level and able to stick to his heroic ideals without being a generic MC that just turns the villain into a big wall to punch through
