Done with Conviction Arc,
I’ve seen many people complain that Berserk drops in quality after GA but I do not think this is the case. Moreso the lack of presence of certain characters that made Berserk so compelling in this arc is what made it less enjoyable for me. Continued

I did not like what Miura did with Casca, I understand her mental state deteriorated because of the traumatic events in the Eclipse. Seeing her being the strong female lead she was in GA tho reduced to a damsel-in-distress role made me feel indifferent.
With the damsel-in-distress situation, I felt Birthing Ceremony was very standard in that Guts was just on a rescue mission. What made Berserk stand out to me was the nuanced narrative it shone on its cast and the unorthodox
take on medieval Europe, historical manga genre. Guts and Puck being the only recurring characters throughout the 3 subarcs definitely made the story lose some of its impact. I want to touch on Farnese for a bit as well, her clouded beliefs and being the typical crazed church
worshipper during that time period made me dislike her a lot. Albeit not absurd as Mozgus, her naivety and instinctive nature to turn away from the reality she witnessed right in front of her irritated me. It looks like she’s seen the light at the end of this arc but still.
The narrative following Nina? was unnecessary towards the end, I did not like her selfish character at all and would’ve been more satisfied seeing her die. Important scenes where Guts was fighting Mozgus and the POV would switch back to Nina doing whatever tf she was doing
