an interesting chart and a smart/shady tactic by bmr that i wanted to share: [a thread]
note: a song can be counted double if it's in another EP, a ''chapter'' or in a deluxe version. the song IDs are different so spotify counts it as a different song.

note 2: the January 2021 one is the evermore deluxe (+17 songs) and no future ''chapters'' she might do again
so, i have noticed recently that by uploading radio edits, and having deluxe versions of her old albums, bmr is minimizing the possible chances of her audience who shuffles through her music to end up on a taylor owned song that they don't get any coin from
for example, if she owned 1 song and they owned 100, the possibility of you finding her owned song through shuffle is 1%, but if they ''cheat'' the system and add up that 100 by uploading radio edits, EPs etc, the said chances are getting smaller and smaller.
for now, taylor fully owns and profits from 47.8% of her spotify discography. she's smart by having these chapters, deluxe editions, live performance uploads and if shamrock doesn't upload anything from her old stuff, she'll overtake with rerecordings in a year.
