The more I read about mRNA, the more I’m in awe of how it makes the old process of making vaccines (which have worked ok for a while) look complicated and unnecessary in many ways. I guess this is the proper definition of innovation

Old Method - find genetic code of virus, put it in an animal to get the spike protein, engineer the virus to make it harmless, inject it into patient to trigger antibodies

mRNA - find the code of the virus, put it into the body to trick it into making antibodies
