10 reasons why Tennessee has to take advantage of this year and Fire Jeremy Pruitt, we will never have stars align again like they have for 2020

1. Three wins: 3-7 with all seven loses by double digits, a historically bad season at Tennessee, there were no close loses. Anyone watching saw how poorly coached & managed players were. Pruitt currently has an 18% approval rating among fans in my weekly poll
2. Signing day: firing a coach after early signing period is usually seen as scummy, however we have a built in excuse because our last game of the year was after signing day. It's reasonable to give Pruitt the entire year, fire him, and work with the recruits already signed
3. Money: lack of fans in Neyland had a huge impact on revenue, but it was offset slightly because the SEC announced a huge TV contract which will provide schools with immediate money to make moves. Pruitt's buyout only decreases by ~$2.5 million firing him now vs Dec 2021
4. Tennessee coaches: multiple coaches with State of Tennessee ties are legit possibilities as candidates...Freeze, Chadwell, Napier
5. Retread coaches: multiple coaches are available who are by most accounts good coaches and would be supported as HC of Tennessee (Malzahn, maybe Herman) or available as quality coordinators for a new coach (Muschamp, Mason, Sumlin all have SEC HC experience)
6. Quarterbacks: new coach would walk onto a team with 3 young quarterbacks that have shown some talent/promise (Bailey, Shrout, and maybe Salter/Maurer)
7. Seniors: because of Covid, seniors can return in 2021, this could immediately give the new coach some established veteran leadership in the locker room
8. Transfers: new coach would start right before the one time transfer rule takes place and they could more quickly grab players for his specific scheme
9. Recruiting: new coach could finish 2020 recruiting from his office, since in-person visits are restricted. He wouldn't be running around the country. The state is also loaded for 2021, new coach could use the optimism to lean into that. Pruitt hasn't made the state a priority
10. Schedule: the 2021 schedule is significantly easier with our out of conference opponents (BG, Pitt, South Alabama) and could allow a new coach to build some momentum with a 6 or 7 win season at minimum, hopefully more. But a 6/7 win season does nothing for Pruitt
