The one thing I dislike is that people can't read into things (not anyone specifically) but if you payed attention at all to the strife between Tobirama and the Uchiha you'd understand racism never came into play. The only one who was racist was Danzo, it was shown several times-

Tobirama was a realist and did not want to take any possibility that another Uchiha like Madara would threaten his village so he took precautionary measures. Which imo was the best thing to do.
