I reject this.
Covid has made everyone insane.
For instance, we are out last night at a place that seats about 80 and we were one of two tables.

Even at half capacity there would be little risk.
So here are the issues:
We knew next to nothing about transmission scenarios in early 2020. Worldwide, governments and health pros had their hair on fire. They wanted to quash this, hence "15 days to slow the spread"
But with their hair on fire, they overreached with info like this.

Playing golf? Risk near zero.
Church services - including funerals - that were distanced and didn't have singing? Near zero.
Walking in a park? Driving by yourself? Sunshine. Fresh air.
Ditto.
Most of us hunkered down this year and followed the directives.

COVID isn't spreading because of non-compliance.
It's spreading because it's a virus.
Deaths by age group - what we needed to do was protect the elderly and people with medical issues. Instead we hammered *everyone* with the hair on fire mitigation strategies. In some cases (NY) this made things much worse in LTC facilities.
March 7 - Fauci tells the American people that "There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask."

Later we were told he lied wanted to preserve PPE for health providers. https://www.facebook.com/DeannaForCongress/videos/368249931220565
Fast forward to 9 months of lockdowns, masks, reduced seating, remote school - and we still have cases growing.

And this is why the flyer in the doctor's office annoyed me.

Clearly the guidance needs to be updated.

We have to stop living like COVID is a death sentence.
