WHAT TO BUY? FUNDAMENTALS
So you're stuck, you see #CT posting about coins and are overwhelmed.
You hear "DYOR" all the time but not sure where to start.
Here's my high level crash course on how I research, and the framework I operate in.

I know how it is, I see new frens ask all the time in #JUMPSQUAD "buy here?" or "what to buy?" or "Wave, what do you think of $xxx?". https://t.me/JumpSquad
You roam #CT and alot of information is presented to you, some with substance, others pure hype, some straight up shill, reKTedness, degen...it's all there.
It can be overwhelming especially if you came here because of #Bitcoin
and now brave enough to venture into alts.

So lets figure this out and cut out the noise.
First of all relax
I believe in the notion that there is ALWAYS the next TRADE or the next DIP

You can FOMO or take your time and be patient.
FOMO induces emotional behaviour often overwhelming and rarely pays off, unless you can quickly spot an opportunity which comes with practice and BEING READY.

My position.
1. I hedge and "balance" my portfolio with what I consider the BLUE CHIPS. Those which always do well and recover quicker after the bear markets and have deep liquidity
$BTC $ETH $LINK

2. What peaks your interest? Music, Sport, TV, Artists, Supply Chain, Tech, AI, Finance etc.
Whatever it is, you normally gravitate towards a project that caters for one of those things initially and then figure some things out in the process.

3.Research
So, what are the key things I look for?
i.) Project - What is it? Does it solve a problem? How likely is adoption? Can real world use case be applied? What is the unique selling point (USP).

ii)Length - How long has the project been live. Check the history, look at the website, try to trace back as far as you can.
iii)Team - Verify the team. is it doxxed or anon? I stay clear of anon unless its by association or someone I can vouch for. Is the team balanced? or are they mainly made up of devs, marketers, business people, entrepeneurs, expects within respective fields.
***NOTE***
I firmly believe the "FUTURE SUCCESS" of any project is the balance ratio of a team. If there are too many marketers, there's seldom a product which can be just a marketing machine.

iv) Tokenomics - What is the supply, what are the allocation splits, what is the market cap, how long is the vesting period for seed, private sale. Who are the VC's involved, what's their history like? Get hold of the pitchdeck!
v) Resource - @coingecko @get_delta , @telegram @Twitter @Medium @YouTube << I check all of these as part of my daily routine some more than others and often have podcasts running in the background to keep me informed.
I listen to @APompliano regularly

vi) Establish when to trade - If I can, I will try to do private sale (not always possible) but worth it if you want to get in early. Otherwise, my stomping ground is sub 10m MC given the above points.
***NOTE***
At this point I dollar cost average (DCA). I don't ape to pump the price, I buy small and dips also at regular intervals. You are 74% more likely to make a success of your investment by DCA than to trade whether new or experience TA.

vii) Look at TA for points of entry. They are great sentiment indicators as normally there is a psychological barrier for buys and sells at "round numbers" i.e, $1,$2, $5 etc.
viii) Risk vs Reward.
10% of my portfolio is for riskier alts that may not tick all the boxes but have a larger potential upside if it pays off.
Normally for this I look at the team to make a judgement, if anon then my peers.

These are just some of the key fundamental points I use, the rest is experience and being open to listen and learn from those around me as much as possible.
Surround yourself with good people, follow the right channels, you will figure them out eventually and ALWAYS do not put in more than what you can afford to lose.
