1- I recently recieve some messages saying I am not patriotic enough since I lack hatred against Armenians. Sorry to upset those, but what Azerbaijan means to me is more than the dictatorship regime hiding behind this flag and a nation brainwashed by his 30-year-long propaganda.
2- Azerbaijan is the current name of this part of the world and the name Azerbaijani indeed represents all people living on this land regardless of their ethnicity including Armenians. I also understand Armenians reject this name for rightful reasons today
3- but undermining the idea of Azerbaijan by adopting ethno-nationalism of turks which may be majority of the country, is discriminatory not only against Armenians, but also other ethnic minorities living in Azerbaijann who also consider themselves Azerbaijani.
4- So in any case I am against the idea of expelling people from their motherland just because they reject the idea of
. If you really want NK to be part of
you first need to persuade its local people to welcome this idea, and it is surely not by hate speech or use of force.

5- at least it was what supposed by the creators of ADR in 1918 who also appointed Armenian deputies to the Parliament to represent Armenians living in
. But if a region doesn't want to be part of your "idea" anymore, you have only one choice - negotiations.

6- Today sadly the idea of
is distorted by the current regime and growing panturk groups under the influence of
. For them,
is a nationalistic turkic state (while even the name Azerbaijan is not turkic) and whoever is against it must be expelled from the country AT BEST

And I reject to be part of such patriotism/nationalism which is based on hatred against another nation. The idea of
is valuable for me as long as it is not against values of civilization.

Note: Yes, I am ethnically turk but I refuse to take this "privilege" of being turk in
. I don't necessarily have to be of ethnic minorities to defend their rights. After all, I consider what is right or wrong, NOT what is in my favor or not.

I really appreciate those who supported and most importantly RESPECTED my viewpoint. Still I am quite upset about those Azeris/Armenians starting a new war in the comments with no respect. I hate blocking people but some people really leave me no chance.
