Things that disappointed me yesterday from both #Swifties and #ARMY fandom, maybe a thread/rant:

Things that disappointed me yesterday from both #Swifties and #ARMY fandom, maybe a thread/rant:

...like you're not allowed to be sexist towards my fave but I am allowed to be xenophobic. Like you're not allowed to be racist to my fave but I can slutshame yours. Have both fandoms collectively thrown out self awareness? YOU don't deserve your faves love if u attack artists.
2. Attacking good, innocent artists. It make sense when swifties go after Kanye, Justin or scooter, who have done & said unacceptable things to Taylor. It makes sense for army to go after any racist or homophobic or xenophobic people who discredit the hardwork and talent of BTS.
But it does NOT make ANY sense when I see army slutshaming Taylor for dating, calling her discount versions cheap tactics, acting as if ONLY Taylor makes remixes or any other business strategy. Taylor has been NOTHING but kind and welcoming and GRATEFUL to BTS.
It's literally so embaressing cuz BTS stand for such high morals and such positive messages, but army can forget that in a quick millisecond to attack a 30 year old woman in a 4 year old relationship and say shit like all she writes abt is her ex lovers etc. it's disappointing.
3. Its all really stupid. Yes you can love BTS but you HAVE NO right to behave as if only BTS work hard or only BTS write their own music. Same goes for many Swifties. They literally reduce BTS to some mainstream pop hit and discredit their song writing or music work. And I have
...seen how they jumped to support blackpink. While there is nothing wrong with that, they didn't do it cuz they liked the music. They did it cuz a blink convinced them of the woman card. Support these girls cuz they suffering as woman just like Taylor. And swifties fell for that
No I don't mean that as hate at all. I know for a fact that all the swifties that jumped on the BTS hate train had not explored the musical talents of BTS OR BP. They just jumped to conclusions cuz woman must be always right and men always wrong. This is sexist.
4. He'll, swifties should no better than anyone to not judge someone music based on their GENDER. Taylor faced so many double standards and sexist comments. All we EVER wanted was people to see her ART before her gender or race or nationality.
5. And I mean this for all fandoms. Judge an artist BY THEIR MUSIC. Not gender, not color, not race, not nationality, not who they date. judge them by their art, song writing, music, the messages they convey, hoe creative they are with story telling. THIS is what makes an artist.
6. Yesterday ARMY were celebrating how like Blue & Grey "outsold" willow etc. Both these fandoms Stan such genius legends, BOTH fandoms revere their artists cuz of the GENIUS & GENUINE song writing. Yet we fight over numbers like uneducated idiots.
7. Both army and swifties want for their artist to be respected for their hardwork. YET both refuse to acknowledge respect to any artist, EVEN if said artist shows love to their faves. They not only want the artist but also the fandom to bootlick out faves. Stop being arrogant.
8. To army, Taylor was the ONLY artist who went to meet BTS herself instead of calling them to meet her. she was the ONLY artist who cheered from her section when BTS won an award when no one even bothered in her section. She has talked about how she loves their music to fans.
How will she feel, when she has never ever been rude or mean to BTS, when she sees y'all tearing her apart as if she isn't human. As if she hasn't suffered. She was the only artist who was discussing BTS music with BTS as if she did her research. She's a good person.

9. To swifties, BTS members have constantly shown love to not only her new but also old music. They always add her new or old songs to their playlists. Or play her music during her lives. They have mentioned her name in interviews out of respect as well. No one is asking you to..
STAN them. It's okay if you don't like their music. BUT it's wrong to attack them. I have seen swifties make homophobic and transphobic comments towards them. I have seen y'all reduce their hard work to nothing cuz you don't like their fandom. I acknowledge that fandoms fight.
10. but it's NEVER okay to drag artists into fanwars. Keep it between fans. Yesterday y'all were attacking Taylor for discounting her music? Maybe also understand she gave 2 albums within 5 months which is a MAMMOTH task. It's a pandemic with financial issues, it's easier to buy-
Music if it's cheap. Y'all were behaving as if she is the most cunning person on the planet who just wants a no 1. Have you even heard any of her last 2 albums? They are a better reflection of what kind of a person she is than the judgement you're making cuz of a stupid discount.
11. BOTH BTS and Taylor donated tons of money to anyone who needed any help during this pandemic. They are doing their best with the music, be it discounts or 7 photocards in 1 album. Both are making efforts to make life easier for their fans. Both are following business tactics.
12. Y'all were looking like literal CLOWNS counting who has more versions and remixes.of their songs between Dynamite and Willow. I've never seen something more stupid. EVERYONE makes remixes. Enjoy the ones you like ignore the ones you don't. Y'all were counting numbers like..

13. Ultimately, remember what your artist stands for before you try to attack another artist who has done nothing to you. Both Taylor and BTS want to be respected and respect others. Understand EVERYONE faces some prejudice based on race gender etc or privilege based on the same.
Covered everything in 13 points and 22 tweets. Miss swift would be proud. Now I'll ignore toxic Stan twitter and listen to my fave legends sing masterpieces and who taught me good morals which I'll stand by.
