I play a lot more RPG sessions than I run.

Not surprising to anyone (I'm sure), I tend to be the party mapper in these games.

This thread collects some of the player maps I have drawn in these games, with some notation about each.
I have little memory of this map from a Dungeon Crawl Classics game I played in. It is probably from one of the official adventures. This MIGHT be beneath the temple of the Frog God.
This is from one of the first Empire of the Petal Throne games I played in back in 2015. We are under the city in order to find ancient records about our clan and families I believe.
From an old Neoclassical Geek Revival campaign (I think this was five campaigns ago) - we tried to raid a Steel Makers base not realizing that the raid by a commando team of Sea Folk (eldar) was still ongoing at the time.
A more recent Empire of the Petal Throne map from early 2019 I think. We were exploring weird foreign tombs and necropoli and found the largest treasure stash of the whole campaign to date.
An even older map from our Neoclassical Geek Revival campaigns. This would be six campaigns ago I think, maybe even seven. This pirate cave was abandoned by the pirates because the last ship they looted contained Count Orlock still in his coffin...
From a Call of Cthulhu game. I don't draw many maps in "modern" games, but sometimes a quick flow chart is needed.
This is either from The Emerald Enchanter or The One who Watches from Below - adventures for Dungeon Crawl Classics. We lost a dwarf from the party in the first room.
Another Neoclassical Geek Revival campaign - here we were trying to recover someone or something important from a Deceased Dwarf Storage Facility after the dwarven mountain city was destroyed by giants.
This is beneath the Sword of Aiunal in our Empire of the Petal Throne campaign. The "Sword" is a tower in a city on the southern continent, and is actually the barrel of a planetary defense laser cannon that we were trying to bring back on line. Because of course we were.
The Argent Tower from our Neoclassical Geek Revival campaigns. This is where the "new" humans arrived on the Ringworld - the tower is the tip of the mining ship they used to pierce the ring (they knew from the craftworld wreckage that the ring's defense lasers still worked).
Somewhere beneath the cave of the Steel Makers is the base where an AI still tries to keep things working on the Ring. Her name is "mother".
Well, well, well!

Sometimes my maps are a bit... rougher. Like this masterpiece from playing through the DCC adventure "Well of the Worm".

Portcullis, Motherfucker!
Hritla is a smuggler / pirate enclave on the Southern Continent in our Empire of the Petal Throne campaign. We managed to capture the settlement in two sessions with no die rolling. We burned a third of the pirate fleet to the waterline, and the rest fell into line.
This... this is a mess of map. Dungeon Crawl Classics again, but not sure of the adventure.
A strange hill has covered most of this old giant gorilla temple. Only the head and one hand of the statue and a few bits of the temple structures were still visible for us to explore in our Labyrinth Lord campaign.
Another DCC adventure. Sam died when a wizard fumbled a spellcasting check and cast another spell at random... In this case scorching ray. The place was full of heavy sludgy oil that caught fire when flaming Sam fell into it. Also, there's a BIG lizard in the back room.
Exploring the undercity of Sokatis in our Empire of the Petal Throne game. We were seeking the lost archives.
Let's finish off with this piece from the first year of our Empire of the Petal Throne campaign, exploring ruins outside of a Salarvyani city.
