1. Chevys full name is Chevrolet Ford General Motors Dealership
2. Chevy is as soft as a chinchilla (and even fluffier) but it's very hard to get her to allow you to touch her. Must employ a combination of bribery and strategic timing.
3. Chevy was first spotted in Fall 2018 as a tiny and dirty outdoors kitten eating huge quantities of kibble. We took her in and now she's not as dirty but she does still eat a lot of kibble
4. Chevy can wink but for some reason she only winks at me and not at her other parent Dan (unsure why this is)
5. Chevy is a trans girl! When we first found her we thought she was a female cat and later discovered she uhh. Wasn't. However we had already decided she was a girl so she has remained a girl cat
6. Chevy sometimes appears to be flicking her tail on beat with music. unclear if this is just me interpreting what I want or if she actually has the ability to enjoy music. She likes Alex G
7. When we first got her Chevy's eyes were pumpkin orange color but over time they have become a more general greenish yellow cat eye color
8. Chevy is very scared of humans that she doesn't know and tbh she's skittish around human friends she doesn't know that well. However a barking pitbull leaves her completely unfazed and unbothered. Presumably because of her prowess in battle.
9. Chevy has tabby ghost stripes on her lil head that you can usually only see in direct sunlight. Further proof she comes from a sort of "small dash of every cat" genetic soup
10. Most cats have a hard time drinking enough water but not this girl! She loves staying hydrated, to the point where we have to keep the toilet lid closed all of the time or she will drink the toilet water
11. Chevy has weirdly good paw dexterity and will sometimes pick up treats with her little hands and feed them to herself
12. Chevys tail makes a great feather duster but it's impossible to get her to do chores

13. My students on Zoom school all know and love Chevy and frequently request to visit her. And I am happy to oblige :)
14. Chevy's name origin: when we first found her she smelled like car exhaust due to sleeping under cars. we were thinking of car names for her when Dan remembered how in the Ramona Quimby books Ramona named her doll Chevrolet bc she thought it was the most beautiful name
15. She will bite and scratch with very little provocation but I always do a loud and dramatic cry of pain when she attacks me and this does actually make her stop. Queen of empathy
16. For some reason her coat gets shorter in winter and longer in summer? No idea why this is but she looks so much more majestic and fluffy in the months from May to October
17. Chevy is probably a Virgo but we don't know 100 percent because we found her outside

19. The path to Chevy's heart is paved with feline Greenies. That girl loves her a crunchy snack
19. Chevy is always getting matted fur on her butt fluffs. And god help anyone who attempts to help remove these mats or touch them in any way.

22. She's clumsy as fuck sometimes!! and it's so funny because she gets all embarrassed whenever she stumbles and has to like stalk away and regain composure
23. Chevy hates capitalism
24. Chevy's routine: go to the front window. Stare. Go to back window. Stare. Run a lap of the house. Go to front window. Stare. Repeat until it's time to sleep or beg for food
25. Her armpit fur is curly for absolutely no damn reason
26. She theatrically "puts away" her food when she doesn't want it (uses her paw to kick imaginary dirt over the food). At first it was cute now it's lowkey disrespectful like ma'am that is a perfectly nice dinner don't put it away!!!!
27. She is known to scarf and barf her kibble i.e. she loves kibble so much she'll eat too much too fast and then puke. She's always been a kibble girl!!
