A thread on why Mourinho's tactics need to be changed.
We know he loves to play on the Counter. And as long as it's effective it's good, but we can't Counter attack against everything. Keeping the ball is essential to not concede when 1-0 up, and that we are not able to do. We rely too much on Kane and Son to just do magic.

And a midfielder Who controls the tempo (Hojbjerg/Ndombele). When we play 5 at the back, like Today vs Wolves, and we chose to press the midfield higher, we need to push the backline higher also. Dier could opt to push up as a Libero when we are in possesion in my opinion.
This would allow more passing options and If the Counter Comes he can sweep up long balls or attempts at through balls, as he was schooled as a CDM (Which I think is why he should push up as a Libero).
Wolves found passes in behind our midfield and our defence, which I think mainly Winks was at fault for, of course Hojbjerg too, but he intercepted the balls sometimes, while Winks was leaving Hojbjerg in the shit.
Finally, If Kane and Son are bad then we are shit. Ndombele is the only other player in the current lineup that can cause a threat attacking through the center. Lastly I think we should aim to play Kane more in the role of a Deep lying forward, where he has been good this season.
Against Wolves, Leicester and Liverpool he looked invisible.
