Today has been THE WORST day of all my shifts and years in nursing and that's saying alot considering this year. At 0700 a 5yr old was brought in and coded for over an hour before being called ,why? Because his fucking family had to have a fucking Christmas get together
Knowing he was very sick but MUH FREEDUMS . I'm done, I don't think I have anything left to give , the ignorance has won . Their selfishness and desire to ignore common sense have cost an innocent life . 2 of us sitting here thinking if we can go on
Sick of working against common sense ,3 counties here have 2000 increase in cases IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY and Christmas cases n New years eve will be seen in 2 weeks. Don't call us heroes we are human with emotional tolls ,many of us are at the brink.
Let me take a second with a clearer head because the point seems to be lost . The child WAS already ill they chose holidays over treatment thinking because of false narrative he would be fine. The entire point is STOP LISTENING TO FAUX NEWS N NON PROFESSIONALS
