AJ Dillon looked good, not great, last night in what could be a preview of 2021 and beyond. As good as Aaron Jones is, I absolutely think GB should let him walk.
I saw some comps of Dillon to Eddie Lacy, like that is a negative. GB played the RB situation almost perfectly and they can do it again.
Lacy was drafted in the 2nd round in 2013, and gave GB a pair of top-8 seasons to start his career. He began to deal with injuries, missing games in year three.
Although GB struggled at RB in 2016, they were able to draft a pair of RBs (Jones/Williams) in 2017 who have played very well.

Now, they hand the job to Dillon + day 2/3 rookie for the next 3 years. Rinse, repeat. Perfect.
Eddie Lacy was a success for the Packers, not a failure.
