The modern push to give people cremations or other alternatives to burial is evil
Most importantly are the religious implications, but another thing is the fact that even in death they want to make it so people cannot have any land or space for their family.
You won’t be able to afford a house or a plot of land for your dead family. Meanwhile the wealthy will continue to make massive family graves
It also continues the idea to put convenience over reverence and virtue. Yeah it’s cheaper to burn granny to a crisp, but how is that respecting your grandmother?
It’s all just a reflection on our nihilistic culture.

Please visit your families graves and maybe show some love to some old graves as well.
The most important thing is that the church has always had proper funeral rites BECAUSE of how important it is. Please just have your funeral done by your church; priests really want to help with the process
If you can’t afford it your priest and parish will help you. I’m on a lot of church email lists and I see the dedication the parish has towards helping families with lost love ones
