also for those from working class backgrounds & those on low income, being creative can sometimes be difficult until you've managed to create a semblance of security for yourself. i've stopped writing for the last 3yrs whilst i've had to worry about where the next wage comes from

sometimes, the freedom to be creative is a privilege of those with stability. and for those of us without financial stability, that freedom doesn't come until we're well past our 20s.
