When the No. 7 Vols take on No. 12 Missouri tonight, it will be the 34th game UT has played against a ranked opponent under Rick Barnes (reg. & post season)

Vols are 12-21 vs. ranked teams under Barnes, but UT is 6-7 when playing a ranked team while also ranked under Barnes.
The last time the Vols beat a top-15 team in the regular season in men's hoops was their 71-52 victory over No. 4 Kentucky in March of 2019. Tennessee was also No. 7 then, just like they are now.

All-time, UT is 78-197 vs. teams in the top 15.
The Vols have played 266 games as a program while ranked inside the top 10 of the AP Poll, counting 4 games this season. UT is 190-76 in those games.

When ranked 7th or better, UT is 83-30 all-time. Vols are 35-6 as a top-10 under Rick Barnes.
