All primary schools in Manchester will be open from week beginning 4 January with a staggered return for secondary schools. Please see thread below for more info:
2/7 Early Years - It is anticipated that all early years settings will be open as planned from 4 January unless parents are advised differently by their setting.
Alternative provision - Alternative education providers will open as planned from week beginning 4 January.

3/7 Colleges - Colleges will contact students directly about their return. Information will also be posted on college websites.
4/7 Secondary schools - The government has announced a staggered return for secondary school pupils. This is to allow schools time to arrange rapid testing of pupils and staff from 11 January to identify asymptomatic cases.
5/7 Secondary schools - Keyworker and vulnerable children only will return week beginning 4 January. Years 11 and 13 are due to return week beginning 11 January. All other year groups are due to return week beginning 18 January.
6/7 Secondary schools - Schools will be in touch directly with parents/carers and pupils about rapid testing, and also about remote learning plans that will be in place until schools are fully re-open.
