As my husband had absolutely no knowledge in business (him being an Engineer), he had to learn from his Dad the rope! My Dad-in-law is very well-known in his industry for his business acumen! The business he used to own used to supply Agricultural products to Canadian farmers!

Anyhoo, the story goes like this (as I heard), thanks to my husband's technical knowledge, they provided laptop and online portal to every sales person for instant payment and fast order processing! So business started to grow! But it got their competitors worried!

So they decided to cut their price really low! Which got my husband worried! Because some of their customers came up asking for discount and threatened to leave if they don't get lower cost. But my Dad-in-law said, he already charges fair price. He won't cut the price farther!

Some of his customer left except the loyal long time ones!
So my husband said, "Dad, why did you not give them a little discount?"
Dad said, "Son, where do you think that discount comes from? It comes from our profit which is also our operating budget! That also pays salary!"

"Less profit means, we can't pay our employees or have to cut back on the quality of our products since we can't pass on that cost to customers! No one can sustain a business at a loss! If I am charging fair price, that means either the competitor is cutting cost or quality!"

"Sooner or later, they will snap! And when they do, we will be here!"
Dad made sure his employees provided the best customer service for all loyal customers to make that cost worth it!
However, he was right! You can't operate business at a loss!

So the competitors had to reduce their staff to make up for low cost! Which made their delivery delayed, customer service sloppy, after sales service below standard because guess what? Work doesn't disappear when you let people go! That means someone is doing two people's work

Eventually all the customers who left, came back to my Dad's company because they realized, trying to get a cheap deal is making them loose elsewhere! They'd rather pay fair price for steller service, than low cost for less service! 
Now, why does it connect to BTS and BH?

We know, BigHit did FREE BangBangCon! They showed old concerts which they already had in CD form and broadcasted in one platform - YouTube! They didn't pay any promotion! Just promoted in their Twitter and ARMY took care of the rest through their grapevine! So cost is LOW!

All they had to do is pay someone to upload the CD in YouTube! That's it! 
It gave them visibility, new ARMY, more sales because no way in hell you don't get hooked to BTS' music and performance specially when you read up on the lyrics and because ARMY pay, album/song sales!

BangBangCon the Free concert which broke records, paved the way for BangBangCon the Live which was paid AND BROKE records for paid concerts too!
All the people who got hooked and could afford, then went on to pay for all other paid concerts!
And all they needed was #BTS!

So Business is all about Operating Cost and Return on Investment!
The little money they invested in BangBangCon, more than paid back in BangBangCon The Live and Map of the Soul: ONE! Which showed in their quarterly report and will reflect in their YE profit (and pay #BTS)!
