Leeds’s style of play is great to watch and does demonstrate that Bielsa is a great coach and, actually, the difference in these defeats is the quality gap on an individual basis (which is no criticism of the players but is anyone claiming they’re as good as Son & Kane?)
It’s no surprise that pundits and co-commentators who have been coaches are impressed by Leeds and Bielsa because they’d all have loved to have turned a bunch of players who were written off as Championship level into a decent Premier League outfit
Glenn Hoddle can see the impressive patterns of play, like Gary Neville can - more so than you or I watching. They can probably tell that, say, a better finisher or more accurate final third balls - which is down to the individual - in the first-half changes that game
