Increasingly feels like crypto investing is the only avenue that many who are disenfranchised have to build generational wealth. The new American Dream?

Incredibly exciting and absolutely terrifying at the same time.
It’s getting increasingly difficult to continue to preach “go to college and work hard” when real wages have been flat for decades and bailouts continue to favor ruling class.

I’m one of those “never bet against America” but I do feel myself reading more Ray Dalio essays lately.
Not sure if this is some sort of narrative violation, but the shock of what’s happened with our K-shaped pandemic recovery should be seen as catastrophic (think about everything that changed after 9/11, but with money and power).

Feels worse than 2008/9. We’ve been had, again.
Our collective disillusionment and distrust in institutions isn’t limited to politics and banks, it’s bleeding over to the very nature of money. Like, we’re starting to acknowledge that modern economic theory is a shared illusion?

What a weird and wild time to be alive.
