In my role at Restoration - I absolutely check reviewer's social media feeds (along with their previous content examples, visible stats, etc.) before I reply to review copy requests.
Restoration's core values include fostering an inclusive hobby and being part of promoting a safe and welcoming environment for historically marginalized folks. If your public presence conflicts with those values? There are a lot of other folks I'd support first.
And it's funny - because though I try to be quite transparent about my role in the industry - some of y'all don't seem to realize it because you're quite shitty to me, my peers, or openly just kind of an ass... and then I see your (so often unprofessional) request for a copy.
