Art Smith is getting a ton of HC interest as expected. If he was going to leave I think the #Titans have plenty of strong in-house candidates to turn to. Here is a thread of pros and cons for each of them:
QB coach Pat O’Hara

Pros: strong relationship with Tannehill, some playcalling experience (arena league and high school), good development work with current QBs

Cons: only 3 years in Titans current offensive system, no NFL playcalling experience
RB coach Tony Dews

Pros: great development work with Henry (who has grown tremendously under his watch), has coached every position group in football besides QB in his career

Cons: no playcalling background, only three years exp in NFL
WR coach Rob Moore

Pros: Excellent work developing Brown and Davis into one of the best WR duos in the NFL

Cons: no playcalling, has only coached WRs
TE coach Todd Downing

Pros: previous NFL playcalling experience (with Raiders), experience as both a QB coach and tight ends coach, helped development of Jonnu Smith, Anthony Firkser, and others during time with Titans

Cons: previous OC results were poor, only 2 yrs with team
OL coach Keith Carter

Pros: most time spent in Shanahan system of any coach on current staff (six years), outstanding development work over past two years

Cons: no playcalling experience
My personal favorite would be Carter because I value the deep roots in the Shanahan system and believe his work with the Titans OL is probably the most impressive of any of these coaches. However, I don’t think they could go wrong with Downing, Dews, or O’Hara either.
