For reassurance:
The case is way worse than nothing, the plaintiff's briefs were hot garbage, and the judge was clearly very upset with their multiple procedural issues yesterday.

The plaintiffs didn't want public access because they don't want their beatdown witnessed.
The problem is that this is not supposed to be the plaintiff's decision. "We stepped on ourself and it's starting to hurt" is not an acceptable reason for sealing a hearing, but that seems for all intents and purposes to be what happened here.
