Over the last few years the world has gotten very lost. And we don’t just mean here in the UK and aren’t talking just about Brexit. It’s everywhere and we’ve reached the point where kids don’t believe in history.

Guy is always proposing solutions to problems (he was an officer, that’s what they do.)
And I always try and work our things work, where they’ve broken, and what can be done to fix them (because I am what I am and it don’t come with rank.)
So guy proposed something last night.

He asked if it was possible to put together a free to access online academy for children all over the world.
I said yes, that’s something my company already does.

Guy then asked if we could bring together different people and skills to create rich courses teaching kids about critical thinking, civic responsibility, ethics, and actually empower them to change the world of tomorrow for the better.
I said yes, that can be done.

He then asked how we make that happen.
And I needed some sleep.
So I let my brain work it through while I grabbed a few hours.
The upshot is that it can work, it can be done rapidly, it can be safely and responsibly, and we have most of the resource needed to deliver it.

The only barrier to doing it right now is that I can’t personally shake any more money out of my personal magic money tree.
So that means asking for help.

With that in mind, I’ve put up a page on my company website which sets out a proposal and makes a request.
If the response meets the needs of the project, we’ll do it. If it doesn’t, I’ve included a back up option in the details.
