The Statehood bill, #HR51, has been re-introduced in the House with an inspirational 202 original cosponsors. (Yes, @EleanorNorton really is that amazing.)

But #DCStatehood is not for @TheDemocrats. It's for DEMOCRACY.

Another great way to act is with grassroots orgs that are now prioritizing #DCStatehood. One favorite: @IndivisibleTeam. Find your local chapter and/or use their resources, and get involved! https://indivisible.org/resource/making-democracy-reform-priority-dc-statehood
Final thought for now: We need all hands on board to achieve #DCStatehood. Join an organizing group, talk to friends and family, share the Statehood news. It may take a while, but we'll get there.
