You know what? I never weighed in on the BLM protests, because I didn't feel like I could add much to the debate.

Now.

I've been watching news footage of the chaos around and inside the US Capitol.

I have seen a 'protestor' sitting at the dais. I have seen a 'protestor'

using what I presume was a privately owned riot shield (shorter than a police one) to break in a window.

I heard at least one person has been shot.

I have yet to hear the words 'tear gas' or 'rubber bullets.

The English language simply does not have words to describe the disgrace I am witnessing.
