People have said this since the attempted coup started, but y’all know that the entire Capitol building has been compromised, right? They were inside of congressional offices. What did they take out of those desks?
What did they possibly put in those desks? That was an absolutely massive security breach. That building is no longer safe or secure. Having janitors come in and clean up broken glass is not enough.
They need to go through there with a fine tooth comb. There ain’t no telling what they’ll find or what will come up missing.
I know people will try to downplay it and say “they weren’t smart enough to take anything valuable.” I’m sure some of them weren’t. However a lot of them were veterans and have military knowledge.
They’d know if you want to spy on someone or get some “evidence” of whatever conspiracy they believe, that would be the place to do it.
