Not a Joe Manchin fan. But he never casts a *deciding* vote against the Democrats. He only votes against us in instances where his vote won't impact the outcome. So if Manchin is voting against stimulus checks, it means at least one Republican is voting for it. It' a non-issue.
Not sure why it's so difficult to so many to understand this very basic concept. Manchin simply wants to be able to tell his red state constituents that he votes with both sides. So he sneaks in meaningless votes against us when it doesn't impact the outcome.
If you don't like Manchin or his strategy, so be it. But stop pretending he's been casting deciding votes against us, when he doesn't do that. You sound hallucinatory when you go there. And you force me to defend a guy I don't even like, on the basis of the facts.
The kicker is that Manchin is laughing at you for your cluelessly misguided outrage. You're giving him cover back home in West Virginia, where he can say "see, the left hates me." You're helping him out. When you rage about imaginary things, you're always helping the other side.
