1/ Good thread and link to Alex Salmond’s full submission to the inquiry into Nicola Sturgeon’s conduct.
In any normal country Sturgeon would have been gone before we got to this stage. #ResignSturgeon
Some key points to note.
1. Sturgeon has been behind this from the start. https://twitter.com/craigmurrayorg/status/1347677043350269952

2. Sturgeons daft lassie routine, the failing memory, the failure to keep a record of meetings was because she knew what she was doing was wrong.
3. It appears Sturgeon was trying to play salmond, giving the impression she was on his side while she was behind it all.

4. Sturgeon and Swinney set the James Hamilton inquiry up as a smokescreen, deliberately restricted to avoid finding a breach and hopefully exonerate her.
5. If you look at the ministerial code, sturgeon has breached it multiple times and should have resigned long ago.

6. It would seem that Swinney and any other minister who has been involved in this is in serious trouble as well. The same goes for any civil servants who allowed the mechanisms of government to be used by sturgeon to settle scores against salmond.

7. From looking at the conduct of Peter Murrell you could be forgiven for thinking there were attempts to interfere in the police investigation into salmond, indeed the verdict leads me to believe the suggestion of a conspiracy was one of the reasons salmond was acquitted.

8. Salmond’s admitted he’s “no angel”; none of us know what went on behind closed doors, but it could be possible that Salmond did commit some kind of criminal conduct and his victims have been denied justice thanks the cackhanded conspiracy by sturgeon and Murrell.

9. Sturgeons conduct shatters the myth of woke First Minister, of course anyone who pays attention knows she has form, remember the Bill Walker scandal.
10. If this doesn’t finish Sturgeon, Scotland is a failed state and holyrood must be reformed or closed down.

11. If it turns out there was an attempt Murrell and Sturgeon to “fit up” Alex Salmond then we are getting into the territory potential criminal offences, could Sturgeon be the first senior politician in UK political history to be jailed? What a case of karma that would be.

12. Sturgeon was excused from giving evidence at Salmond’s trial citing covid19.
Was the real reason that she didn’t want to be exposed as a liar on the witness stand?
Do the justice minister and the lord advocate need to be answering questions on this point?
