3/n Initially, Rana Jai Singh not made any advance against Mughals due to which Aurangzeb with his forces penetrate much deeper inside the Mewar

6/n Very soon Aurangzeb realised that if the Rana Jai Singh had made no movement against him, it was not becoz he could not.... becoz he would not
Mughals trapped in this move very badly that they were unable to move forward or backward

7/n The worst movement for Aurangzeb was... when he found that his beloved
Udepuri put in no appearances, nor was there there the slightest news of her
Just Imagine the condition of Aurangzeb!!!
P.S. - Pic only for reaction

8/n Now, who was Udaipuri Mahal?
She was a royal concubine of Aurangzeb. A Georgian by race and mother of Aurangzeb's youngest son (or I say Sin) Kam- baksh
Was very closed to Aurabgzeb that she was allowed to drink even in the presence of him
P.S.- pic for representation

9/n So trapped in labyrinths... lost his royal concubine... now Aurangzeb felt hungry but there was no supply available
Rana send his own supply ..after allowed him to suffer hunger for a whole one day
It was rarest that Mughal emperor spend a whole day without having a food!!!

10/n After spending a whole one day without food and later ate little khichadi
Rana sent Udaipuri Mahal back to the Mughals in the company of Rajputs
And said to leave his kingdom in peace
It would have been enough to pacify the most barbarous kings enraged by great insult

11/n Aurangzeb learned no lesson from this insult and he sent order to his sons & generals to penetrate farther
While he himself withdrew to Ajmer so as not to incur again any evil fortune ( now Aurangzeb starts fearing

12/n
Receiving a task of further penetration in Mewar
Aurangzeb's useless son and hopeless General made excusses
Because they knew the mishap happened with Emperor
(may be his son and generals doesn't like khichdi which Aurangzeb ate in compulsion)

13/n The whole ruckus is going on... and another one is coming that
Aurangzeb's beloved son Akbar's revolt
Rana Jai Singh found Akbar boldest and most turbulent among all his brother
Rana and his Rajputs send some selected person into his camp...

14/n These men counselled him that... Aurangzeb was without his men and all the other princes were in Rana's territory...it would easy to capture the crown
Akbar embraced his advice and began his march for seizure and Aurangzeb's beheadel
(Predator became Pray)

15/n Although Aurangzeb handle this situation with very difficulty but at this stage he became so nervous and realised that it was the biggest mistake of his life that he attacked on Mewar
16/n Akbar ran away and found refuge in Sambha ji's territory
Finding that Akbar had beaten a retreat to the territories of Sambha ji
Aurangzeb finally left his will to conquer Mewar and became desirous to make peace with Rana Jai Singh

18/n Main difficulty for Aurangzeb to make a peace with Rana Jai Singh was that he could not make overtures without loss of Honour
He also feared to become a laughing stock in front his own officers for refusing the proffered peace which he now himself compelled to sue for

19/n Aurangzeb directed Diler Khan to undertake the task of mediator between him and Rana and conclude peace
Diler Khan wrote the Letter to Rana for peace treaty but Rana refused and dissimulate in order to convince Aurangzeb that he was under no necessity to make terms

20/n Diler Khan wrote letter after letter and even threaten to further advance and detailing the strength of Mughals
Rana, although desirous of peace made various excuses

21/n In this manner Rana Jai Singh kept Aurangzeb in expectation and the delay was very heavy to bear for Aurangzeb because of Akbar and Sambha ji combination
These negotiations went on for 5 months... in the end Rana sent his brother to the court to complete the peace treaty

22/n Rana's ancient privileges were confirmed
There were some change that instead of retaining cavalry of Mewar (7000) in Mughal force, Rana should pay money of that no.of soldiers
becoz Mewar's cavalry had a bad reputation and committed great oppression in Mughal territory

n/n Finally Aurangzeb satisfied having a peace with a king (Rana) who once spared his life
Maharana Jai Singh would be able to do greater harm to Aurangzeb by only delaying the peace treaty
This was the most disgraceful defeat of any Mughal emperor by the hand of Hindu King
