I'm seeing many accounts that I don't necessarily agree with but find interesting having followers scythed, which would seem to be a warning from Twitter. This will affect accounts' contents or existence. It's bad enough to have Big Tech algorithms steering what I read.

So I don't see myself staying on Twitter much longer. I'm seeing people cheering for deplatforming more generally, not just for Trump, but for any wrongthink.

If social media was a corner of the marketplace of ideas, this wouldn't matter. Unfortunately it has effectively BECOME the marketplace of relevant actionable ideas. So calls for censorship and deplatforming for what others hear effectively become total.
