A thread of videos of emergency service vehicles (ambulance, fire, police) proceeding rapidly through Low Traffic Neighbourhoods and cycle lanes.
First up is this one from @BastieVelo showing a fire engine racing thru the @RailtonLTN

Next up is this one from @KarlTroyLondon of another fire fighting apparatus making its way through the Evering/Brooke Road filter in the @hackneydownsltn
And the London Ambulance Service in the @SaveOvalStreets Low Traffic Neighbourhood
Another one from @BastieVelo:
‘An unmarked police car speeds through the planters at Hurst St into the car-free streets of @RailtonLTN to catch bad guys and fight crime!’

Back in 2018 as the @hackney_cycling feeder ride of 50+ people made its way to @RideLondon we easily got out of the way of this fire engine passing through this cycles only section of Pitfield Streeet.
And this happened (and continued to happen) in the @enjoyLDNfields #LowTrafficNeighbourhood
through the Cat and Mutton bus gate.

Of course we can also change the type of emergency service vehicles we use to get around.
Love this cargo bike ambulance.

This one from @HighburyCyclist shows an ambulance easily passing though a filter in the new @HighburyLtn amidst a hive of pedestrian and cycling activity
Think I’ll expand this thread to show people not in cars safely using the calm streets LTNs give us.
This one comes to us from @StPeters2020 in Islington.
