Reminds me of a time I went to a little hole in the wall in NYC Chinatown w two non-Asian friends and ordered a dish, and the waiter hesitated a long time, then demanded “You Chinese?” and when I assured him I was he stopped worrying.
If I ever opened a restaurant my mom would 888% leave a Yelp review that sounded like this.
