Republicans have fed the hate in their base for decades in order to keep power. They knew they were lying and they knew it was damaging the very fabric of our nation.

They didn’t care then and they don’t care now.
Republicans care only about their power. Think about all they accepted in the last four years. All they embraced. All they pretended not to see.

Imagine what they have seen that we don’t yet know about. Imagine what we’ll never be told.
We have long known our police forces have been infiltrated by those who care nothing about the law. They want only to use their power to oppress. They want to use their perversion of justice as a weapon against those they hate.

We must root out this evil. We must overcome it.
I’m an ally of the light, but don’t excuse my idealism for weakness. We have resisted the evils & injustices of Trump for 4 very dark years. We won’t sell our souls - or our country - to those seeking a false unity.

Justice.

Nothing less than justice. There is no negotiation.
I have faith in America. I have faith in my countrymen and countrywomen. I know, in the end, America will be better than before. We’ll be stronger. Wiser.
For too long, too many chose not to vote. They thought both parties were the same. The GOP made it harder to vote, more inconvenient & more ugly.

They suppressed the vote cuz they know they haven’t earned it.

We must continue to fight for the right to vote. And we must vote.
We must vote in every election. Every. Single. One.

We have seen what Republicans really stand for. Our democracy will remain in danger. It’s up to us to save it.
