There are so many cultural factors that just doesn’t make this argument a sound one, to me.
These takes that are often about “make it all free” usually don’t account for centuries of exploitation, unaccounted for, and the particular ways that Black cultural producers remain the least awarded/rewarded, even though their/our material is at the base of “fair use”
And, since the OP is a CR specialist, I suspect they know that Disney is responsible, in many ways, for the extensive CR terms, while they bully others into not having access to their own material for “fair use” — lets start with them, maybe.
