THREAD: Mohawk Tded99 teepin
The lead leg teep is great for safely closing a large amount of distance. Picking up the lead leg dissuades/punishes any counter kicks they try to throw as you move in, and it can draw them into blocking which exposes their face/body
Mohwk will hop in w/ it to close harder
Mohwk will hop in w/ it to close harder
It's also useful for closing distance more subtly. He bounces the lead leg to show the teep and quietly sneak his rear leg forward, allowing him to inch closer while staying safe and keeping his opponent off guard and reacting
The constant bouncing of the lead leg disguises switch steps on round kicks
He'll bounce back so he can hop into a power side-teep off the back-foot
It's a great tool for ringcraft off the back-foot too. Mohawk circles off to the open side to lead his opponent onto him, then bounces into hard teeps
