MF DOOM rapped over a few beats from Donuts. According to a couple of our hazy recollections, right after Dilla died Doom showed up and said that Dilla had appeared to him in a dream saying, “We gotta collab”
He went on to say he’d already done three tracks, all of them from Donuts. The first of these to come out was “Mash’s Revenge” over “Mash” released on a 12-inch and a Stones Throw comp in 2007
The second was “Sniper Elite,” digital release in 2008, later on vinyl in the 7-inch box set edition of Donuts. “Swipe em off his feet on this type of heat beat” https://open.spotify.com/track/4NdFnch7ndFRVyKymXemeu?si=Jmj44r7BRQS_tzRgg_kmIg
“Lightworks” later showed up on Doom’s solo album Born Like This.
