Eminem outro's ranked (a thread)

11. Venom-
The only Eminem outro that I don't really like, the song as a whole sounds like a Southpaw b side track (which is a soundtrack I really like), but with a terrible hook, and worse rapping and beat.
Bad song.

10. Arose-
I might get hate for this, but while I do enjoy the song as a whole, the entire first part isn't really good imo because of his delivery, and sometimes he just sounds like he's trying to kill the beat and have "mad bars".
2nd verse is really great though.
Decent song.

9. You're Never Over-
Again dfkm but I while I do like the flows, emotional content and the beat is ok, the hook is kinda iffy for me.
There also a few corny bars but I can let them slide because they're very uncommon.
Good song.

8. Encore-
Really underrated track from an underrated album, this is a really fun banger, even if it sounds more like 50's sound than Em's it's still an incredibly fun track.

7. My Dad's Gone Crazy-
Again an underrated track, the first 2 verses are the type of funny Eminem I love, with non corny funny bars.
The best part of the song is the incredible 3rd verse, which serves as a great summary of the album's themes.

6. Discombobulated-
As much as I was dissapointed by this album, this is a really really great track.
Great mix of the Relapse sound (on the first verse and the hook), and the TES type lyrics and delivery on the later verses.

5. I Will-
Here Em gets all of Slaughterhouse (except Joe, of course), for a very menacing and dark song, one of the most concept fitting songs on MTBMB.
It contains a top 3 verse from Em on the album, and I love the disses and hard come up bars.
Great song.

4. Still Don't Give A Fuck-
My personal fav track from SSLP, love the dark themes and the great flows and rhyming, this also shows how much Em's life has changed since releasing JDGAF just 4 months prior, but his attitude has stayed the same.

The bars on here just create a really vivid image, and "Now, how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet" is one of the hardest bars I heard.
Amazing song

3. Underground-
This was my fav Relapse song for a while, and it's still top 3.
Even though I do like some of the accents and almost none of them bother me anymore, I do wish we got a Relapse version with this type of delivery.
The flows and rhyme scheme on here are mind boggling

And I love the almost choir like vocals on the hook, and all of the horror film refrences are great.
I love how Em really stays in character for the entire thing too, and the call back to Criminal and SDGAF with the intro.
I do skip the outro sometimes but since it's a skit it

doesn't count imo.
The song serves as an explanation to where he's been, but instead of telling the truth about rehab, he says he was underground (as in, hell).

2. Criminal-
This is Em's biggest fuck you to the world, with the first bars on the first verse being some of the most homophobic and mysogonistic stuff he ever said, while also dissing the church, Versace (who was dead), the critics and media, and his public persona.

The piano keys on here are also very iconic, and the way he stays in character and even dedicates most of the 2nd verse to dissing himself, almost saying the N word, and just being a really major degenerate and asshole, even killing Dre in the end of it.
All of that leads into the 3rd verse, which follows a skit of him killing a bank teller and robbing a bank in the middle of the song, and describes his escape from the police.
He's so dedicated to escaping that he threatens to kill witness pets and children.

This verse also contains the line that while relevant to the song is also the mantra of the album:
"You motherfuckin' chickens ain't brave enough
To say the stuff I say, so just tape it shut
Shit, half the shit I say, I just make it up
To make you mad, so kiss my white naked ass"

Amazing song, and while not one of my personal favs from MMLP, is an incredibly strong track, and great outro, but there's one outro I slightly prefer to it.
1. Evil Twin-
One of the things every rapper with an alter ego should do, is a song with him and his alter ego going back and forth, this is exactly what this song is.
Em seems more tame and serious, while Shady is incredibly offensive, hopeless and sees the worst in everything.

This track is incredibly strong lyrically with bars really fitting either Slim or Em.
One of the best things about this track which is a theme in MMLP2 is Em reflecting on stuff from his SSLP->TES era, like Headlights being about his and his mom's relationship,

or Rap God about his career, and this is sort of a continuation of The Monster's main theme, Em blaming every bad thing he did on The Monster (which is a metaphor for Slim), and here he finally takes responsibility for the things he did, even on a track were Em and Slim are very
Noticeably different from each other and have different mind states, Em after Slim's last verse, says:
"But all bullshit aside, I hit a stride
Still Shady inside, hair every bit as dyed
As it used to be when I first introduced y'all to my skittish side
And blamed it on him when they tried to criticize
‘Cause we are the same".
I love everything about this song, top 1 MMLP2.
