A lot of companies are having conversations right now about a long-term reduction or even abandonment of physical office space or a move to the 'burbs. This is breaking my heart.

But it begs the question - what are the consequences for our downtowns & our cities? The heart & soul of the urban experience - like the arts, culture, food & entertainment businesses that we so desperately miss because they give us LIFE. Our downtowns aren't Disneyland. (2/3)
They aren't manufactured to wait patiently for your next visit. They live & breath, they require daily investment & participation. Whatever role you play in these decisions - I only ask that you consider the ripples that extend far outside of yourself and your bottom line. (3/3)
