Here are 10 quick tips to tighten up your copywriting for any business communication, whether youâre writing a cold pitch or copy for a marketing landing page.

1/ Use simple words. As in sight words on your grade school flashcards kinda vocabulary. Leave the thesaurus and technical jargon for research papers you submit to academic journals.
2/ Basic sentence structure works best. Donât expect your audience to spend too much of their time figuring out what theyâre reading.
3/ Only introduce one idea per sentence.
