There's a common Muslim claim that the Parakletos (the Helper, Advocate, Comforter, Counselor, etc.) in John 14-16 is not the Holy Spirit, but rather Muhammad the founder of Islam.

Jesus in John 15:26 says He will send this Parakletos, namely the Spirit of Truth, to His disciples. Who is this Spirit of Truth and Parakletos? Read the entire discourse in context. Jesus identifies the Parakletos by Name in John 14:26 as the Holy Spirit.
The end right? I mean, Jesus even goes as far as giving spiritual, divine attributes to the Parakletos beforehand in John 14:16-17. This Spirit of Truth, this Parakletos, will be with the disciples (the audience of Jesus here) and He cannot be seen, and is already...
with the discples, yet the change that occurs when Jesus goes away to the Father (this is the cause for Jesus giving the discourse) is this Spirit of Truth, this Parakletos, will be inside of the discples.

These are attributes of God being applied to the Parakletos. John 15:26 says the Spirit of Truth PROCEEDS out from the Father. In John 14:26 the Spirit of Truth is God's Holy Spirit. In John 14:16-17 the Spirit of Truth is omnipresent and timeless.

Jesus says in John 16:7 that He Himself is the One who will send the Spirit of Truth to His discples. I do not recall the Quran or any reliable Hadith claiming Jesus is the sender of Muhammad.

Stop using this stupid Zakir Naik-tier argument. You're committing shirk, the most heinous sin is Islam, everytime you use it.
The Parakletos is the Holy Spirit of God, the Life-Giving One.
