I just want to add a few relevant details that got left out of this otherwise excellent series:
1) Richard's mother was forced to work in a shoe factory while pregnant. One of his older brothers was born with birth defects as a result.

2) Richard had multiple traumatic brain injuries as a child, leading some to suggest that this was a possible source of his loss of empathy and sociopathic tendencies. #NightStalker
3) A member of the jury was murdered by her abusive ex boyfriend during the trial. Before the cause was found, some believed that Richard had convinced a groupie to retaliate against her.

4) An alternate juror developed a relationship with Richard after the trial, despite having voted to convict him and in favor of the death penalty. She later appeared on an episode of the Montel show. #NightStalker
5) Magazine editor Doreen Lioy became infatuated with Richard during his trial, as well. After many exchanged correspondences and personal visits, they married in 1996. They still were at the time of his death in 2013, despite separating. #NightStalker
6) While on death row, Richard met both Sean Penn and Madonna and Todd Bridges of "Diff'rent Strokes."

7) Richard's father once worked as a cop in El Paso, Texas. Their relationship was very strained, and Richard would often sleep in the nearby Concordia cemetery. @GhostAdventures investigated this location in its 2016 Halloween special. #NightStalker
