I came across a take dun sa “degree holder pero 17k lang starting” saying na

Kids these days are entitled, wala pa kayong maiaambag, a career is something you have to build bla bla bla

The point was missed, I think. Ang point: people need living wages.
Whether starting ka or not, degree holder or not, you need a level of pay that will help you live a comfortable life.

Hindi yung kailangan mong consistently binabarat yung sarili mo para lang magsurvive ka day to day.
This is a particularly important when you live in a country where social services are limited.

Transpo. Helathcare. Housing. Insurance. Unemployment.

Can you pay for these and still have enough to support your other needs? Your kids? Giving back to your parents? Your personal-
hobbies? A vacation every now and then?

A living wage helps you live a fulfilling life. Hindi naman ata okay na saka mo lang maeenjoy ang buhay pag kumakaway na si kamatayan.

These are what a lot of progressive peoples in progressive countries fight for:
A living wage and social services.

Kaya mataas ang standard of living nila.

Dito saatin lol: “nagsisimula ka palang, ‘toy. Grind grind muna.”

Kaya the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer and live miserable lives.
Lalo na’t may study ang world bank ba yon? Na yes the Philippines is prospering but wages are not growing. Naisip niyo ba yon?

Where is the prosperity going? Why are salaries not getting better?

Hindi yung pasimflex kayo sa mga narating niyo sa buhay.
