The Bucs playing cover 0 robber vs the Packers

Adams not being healthy had a big impact on that game

Hard to play cover 0 without a free rusher. Doesn’t matter much though if the offense is going to throw mostly shallows and slants vs man on 3rd and ~3
Bowles made pretty much the same call on the next third and medium

A great gameplan from Bowles as the Packers love running shallow crossers from condensed formations vs man on third and medium
If you want to rush five or more and play man against the Packers you have to have an answer for their man beaters (and also Adams any time you play man), so you have to play 0 robber instead of man free
Spin concept here

Probably the favourite way from Shanahan teams of beating man free. LaFleur and McVay don’t use it much though
In a condensed formation like this, they’re not going to threaten deep vs man, so no need to have a post safety
If they’re in a more spread formation, than the deep shot becomes much more of a possibility
Rodgers will sometimes alert the go route when they’re in condensed formation though

As it was man free, Rodgers should have been content with hitting the shallow
Another alerted go route

The Packers didn’t have much man beaters in their gameplan vs the Colts
They’re a big fan of mesh
They like having an RB run the under shallow

Good way to get your back involved in the pass game
They ran mesh pivot as a counter here
This caused teams to come up with answers to combat them without playing 0 robber

I haven’t seen a defense cover a bunch like this before
