I wanted to share 5 little job hunting tips that helped me while I was looking for roles late last year. Nothing too crazy but maybe they'll be helpful for someone.

Job hunt tip #1:
Use TweetDeck to save multiple search terms and quickly view the latest tweets posted, such as "hiring frontend developer".

If they're hiring for one role, they're usually hiring multiple positions. Be sure to check out their hiring page!

Spend a couple afternoons going through some of your hundreds (ok, thousands) of bookmarks and check out the careers page of companies that interest you.
Many companies never post their jobs anywhere but their company website.

Build a spreadsheet with open roles you're interested in. Update it along the way.

Most of us send out the initial "Looking for a new role" tweet but many don't follow up.
Keep talking about it!
Once or twice a week let folks know you're still on the hunt for a new role. Real friends and supporters won't mind seeing this again.
